TYPES OF STONES USED IN THE WORKSHOP

TURQUOISE
All types, shapes, and styles of turquoise are used in the work shop. Stones are hand crafted and sourced from New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. Colors of turquoise range from bright green to deep dark blue.

WHITE BUFFALO & WILD HORSE
This type of stone was first discovered in a turquoise mine in Nevada and is commonly referred to as White Turquoise. This stone mostly appears as white stone with black rippling throughout. Commonly compared to white buffalo because of similarities in color- Wild Horse has brown rippling through the white stone. Wild horse comes in many shades of brown and white and has become very popular in this workshop.

SPINY OYSTER
This is exacatly what its called. Oyster shell. It comes in a wide shade range that includes but not limited to orange, purple, red, and pink. There are lots of awesome turuqoise stones that get set and mixed with spiny oyster creating great vibrant pieces of jewelry.
WHAT TYPES OF METALS ARE USED? HOW DO YOU TAKE CARE OF IT?
Fine Silver (.999), Sterling Silver (.925), and Copper are the only metals used in my workshop.
Sterling and Fine Silver age with time and start to tarnish or turn black which is a natural patina. This happens from exposure to humidity, water, and oils from your skin. To prevent this tarnish you just need a polishing cloth. They are inexpensive and can be found on Amazon by searching "sterling silver polishing cloth". Simple rub the cloth against your jewelry and it will shine just like the first day you got them.

~SIZING QUESTIONS~

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE RING TO BUY?
Going to a local jeweler is the cheapest and most effective way to get your ring size. Ring sizers are available on Amazon for only a few dollars and work excellent for getting your size. When it comes to wide band rings I always recommend sizing up a half size. If you have a fabric measuring tape at home google ring size charts and you can figure out the size you need that way as well.

ARE YOUR EARRINGS HEAVY? HOW CAN I TELL THE SIZE?
I try not to make any earrings "heavy". I am very aware of the working woman and wanting to make sure your earrings are comfortable to wear all day long. As for size, I always include a measurement in the listing and a photo next to a coin for a visual size example as well.
